I did an impulse buy on some root beer schnapps this weekend. I drank a little straight. I found it interesting, for about 10 seconds. Then I had some over a scoop of ice cream. That too, was interesting, for about 10 seconds. I'm sure this stuff is better in some sort of mixed drink. As I had it, schnapps didn't have the same appeal as real root beer would have had. I couldn't help thinking to myself, if what I want is root beer, why don't I just go get some root beer?
