What is your favorite brand of root beer for floats? I think mine is Mug. It's sweet, but not too sweet, and has a little bite. I love bite when drinking strait root beer, but not in my floats.
How 'bout you?

Re: Best Brand for Floats?
Tue, March 27, 2007 - 1:44 PMI try not to waste the good stuff on a float. Don't get me wrong, good ice cream in good root beer is always a good thing. But I'm more likely to use the mass-produced stuff for a float. Maybe IBC, or Mug as you say. Barq's will do, but I don't like the added caffeine. -

Wed, March 28, 2007 - 12:24 PMOh, I bet that is good! I'll have to try it. I love their key lime soda! I bet that would be good in a float too, but that's a different tribe. ;) -
